Slipper Sisters:
Slipper Sisters is a women’s missional community that meets weekly for Bible Study, Prayer and Fellowship. The atmosphere in this group is very laid back, but there is an emphasis placed on sharing our lives in a safe and judgement-free place.  The group consists of women from different denominations and varying spiritual journeys who live in the Kingwood/Lake Houston area.  The desire of the members of this group is that we support one another as life happens around us, that we become the women that God desires of us by studying His Word and learning to obey Him in all things, and that we take what we have learned back out into the workplaces and homes that we find ourselves.

The Book of Revelation – Worthy is the Lamb:

Beginning, Monday, Sept. 10, 6:30pm Fellowship Hall
God’s revelation to John encourages Christians at every age. Indeed, our victorious Lamb who was slain is worthy of honor and praise! Key thoughts concerning John’s vivid prophecy include:
• The ultimate defeat of Satan and all the forces of evil.
• The confident hope believers have in their reigning Savior
• The final, glorious destiny of all those who trust in Jesus for salvation.

Tuesday Women’s Bible Study
New Study on “Deepening Your Worship” begins Sept. 11, 9:45AM in Room 1-2 of the Worship Center.
We are all created and called to lead a lifestyle in mind, body and soul. Deepening Your Worship, by local author Lorraine Hill, is an eight-week Bible study that discusses different aspects of worship such as obedience, serving, faith, holiness, praise and prayer. We’ll explore serving with passion, becoming living sacrifices, walking by faith, the beauty of repentence and the spiritual battles we face to worship. As we get into God’s word we will rejoice together in worshiping our Lord and Savior as sisters in Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Women of all ages welcome.Meets weekly through the school year except for holidays.
