Here's a sample calendar with notes below about its features. It's very easy to figure out. 

"RECIPIENT" gives the family's name, address, and phone. Click "More Details" for driving directions.

"LATEST NEWS" offers information. Click "More Details" to read more.

Dates flagged red indicate needs. Click them for more information.

Dates flagged in green indicate that a volunteer has offered to serve that day. Click them for more information.

Dates flagged in blue indicate news has been added to the "Latest News" section. Click them for more information.

ACTS Ministry

The ACTS Ministry of Christ the King seeks to provide help for people in our midst who are going through a time of need or crisis by providing meals and/or services such as lawn mowing. ACTS stands for “Active Caring – Timely Service” and states the goal of this ministry which is to provide God’s caring and love to people in a timely manner when they have a need. 

To serve, volunteers must first request a list of families needing assistance from CTK. This is a way of maintaining the security and confidentiality of volunteers and recipients.

Volunteers then go to the Care Calendar site and enter the calendar ID number and security code for the family.

Active Caring, Timely Service

  • Request a list of families currently needing assistance.
  • Schedule an opportunity to serve. Care Calendar will send you e-mail reminders as your day of ministry service draws near.
  • Request assistance for yourself or someone in the congregation who has a need for this type of help. ACTS ministry leaders will add them to our list and notify all ACTS volunteers.
