Celebrate Recovery

 Our Recovery Purpose

The purpose of CTK's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to experience Relationship and God's Healing Power through  the "eight recovery principles".  This experience allows us "to be changed".  We accomplish this by sharing our experience, strength and hope with one another within the large group setting, and working the "Twelve Steps" within our step study groups.  In this sharing and working the steps we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our lives problems. By applying the Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually.  We become able to be freed from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.  This freedom translates  into peace, serenity, joy and most importantly a stronger personal relationship with God and others.  As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power - Jesus Christ, the one and only Higher Power!
