Relationships @ CTK

Why do we emphasize relationships at Christ the King?

Jesus said "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Jesus also declared "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"

100Based on these two clear teachings from Jesus, we are convinced that relationships are at the center of our life together. In our relationships, we encourage one another to reflect the three dimensions of Jesus' life - Upward towards God the Father - Inward towards the community of disciples - and Outward towards a world in need of God's love. We call this "UP, IN, and OUT", or simply "The Balanced Life".

Learn how this focus on relationships impacts the way we serve in community.
