How we Serve: in community
Why do we emphasize serving in community?
Because we are committed to following Jesus' example in the three dimensions of His life - UP, IN and OUT - our service to the world around us finds its fullest expression in community, most specifically through communities we call Life Groups.
We trust God to lead His people in community towards acts of service to a world in need around us. We trust God's people to follow Jesus in community, listening and responding to His voice as they live out this "balanced life" together. As a result, the missional outreach of Christ the King is birthed not by staff or leadership boards, but by the passions of our people as they gather in Life Groups.
