Want to be in the YESS band?

                     

The YESS band is never static - it is always open to any senior high student who has a passion for helping others to connect with our Father, by giving Him glory.

We open the YESS band up to senior high only, not to exclude middle school students, but to give them something to look forward to during their 7 year journey through the YESS ministry. We are in constant need of vocalists, guitar players, drummers, keyboards, flutes, and we've even had cellos and other instruments.

The YESS band rehearses in the student center Saturday mornings @ 10:00 am.  The rehearsals are open to anyone. We seldom "call" or "invite" players to play on any particular Sunday. We simply see who God brings to the Saturday rehearsal and go from there.   JOIN US!

ELEV8

 

Elevate (or Elev8) is a few hours on Sunday evenings devoted a couple times each month to simply get together and to be the church that is described in Acts chapter 2.  We gather (whenever there is not a special event) @ 7:00pm in the student center. Everyone brings a beverage to drink and then food to share. We usually have a food theme ("that can't be healthy", or "Sweet or Salty" or "Foreign" or "Not oreos") and end up with more food than we can eat. The rest of the time is spent visiting, and sharing about what Christ is doing in our lives and our world. We usually end up with a few songs of worship and dealing with lots of questions.  At elev8 we don't set the agenda - God does - through our students.
