Get Connected @ CTK

Christ the King offers a number of ways for people to "make themselves at home" in the Lake Houston region, to become familiar with our church, and to become more involved.  Sunday morning services are one place to start. Frequently Asked Questions may help you know what to expect. What else can you do to connect? Here are four suggestions.

1. Meet our Care Ministers

Care Ministers are thoughtful and considerate people who know what it's like to be in a church that still feels new and unfamiliar. Our Pastors introduce Care Ministers at each worship service. The Care Ministry team is available after worship to answer your questions, find a class or ministry, and help you feel comfortable.

2. Try "Vision & Values"

Vision & Values is a 6 week class about Christ the King and is a step towards becoming connected with this body of believers.

· A class for you to learn more about our foundation in God’s Word, the history of Christ the King, the need for regular worship and our vision for the future.

· A casual setting to build relationships with other Christians.

· An educational experience to help you understand our commitment to become and being fully devoted followers of Christ Jesus.

This class is designed to complement and enrich your worship experience each weekend while helping you meet others.  Classes meet each Sunday for 6 weeks at 9:40 a.m. Pastor Al also teaches two evening classes to cover doctrinal issues and to answer any questions you might have. Those seeking to become active participants in the ministries at Christ the King are especially encouraged to attend.

Our next class is scheduled  for August 24, 9:40am.  You may register online or in the Commons.    For more info contact Denise Thiele.
